Aundre Brown (a.k.a Omega D)


Birmingham Born and raised, Aundre Brown (a.k.a Omega D) began his journey into the creative industry at the age of 14 years old, through Bboying.

Originally, Omega D has a background in: Art, writing and poetry/Spoken Word. in 2006, he became an apprentice to Marso (a.k.a Mickael Riviere). He then began to develop his skills and learn more about the dance and the Bboys Attic agency..


Omega D had gained valuable experience in: teaching, performance, marketing, promotion and administration.

In 2006/2007 he was a member of Birmingham based dance group - Black Mafia (created by Fabien Riviere), performing on the Breakin’ Convention 2007 Tour - Birmingham and Northampton. He then went on to co-find the Smash Bro’z Hip-Hop collective in 2009.


During the year of 2009, Omega D had:

•Performed at “Micaya’s 11th annual Hip-Hop Dance fest, San Francisco, California.

•Taught across: Hereford, Worcester and Wales for 2Faced Dance Company.

•Performed with the Birmingham Opera Company for their December Production of ‘Verdi’s Othello’.


In 2010, The Smash Bro’z Hop-Hop Collective went on to become the No.1 Hip-Hop dance group in the United Kingdom, after winning, the iDance UK Hip-Hop dance championships. After receiving news and press coverage from the BBC, Omega D then went onto perform alongside The Smash Bro’z in events such as:


•The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) Opening Ceremony, N.I.A.

•The British Inspiration Awards 2010

•“Fresh Genes” – BASS Festival, Midlands Arts Centre, Birmingham.

•Real Deal Comedy Jam, Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham.


As well as administrator & press officer for Bboys Attic, Omega D is also a part of Project platform - A social media project for 16-19 year olds that represents a unique perspective on the arts in Birmingham.
